CAS Innovations was founded by 8 institutes of the Czech Academy of Sciences and is managed by Martin Smekala Ivan Nechvátal.

We emphasize comprehensive support for excellence and the development of research careers as a strategic priority of CAS, under the leadership and support of Prof. RNDr. Radomír Pánek, Ph.D. (Middle Left), the President of the Czech Academy of Sciences, and doc. Ing. Karel Havlíček, Ph.D., MBA, the 1st Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade (Middle Right).

We bring together scientists and investors to accelerate the transformation of research into practical applications across the Czech Academy of Sciences. The initiative is endorsed by Ing. Ilona Müllerová, DrSc., the Vice President of the Czech Academy of Sciences and Ing. Miroslava Anděrová, CSc., Vice-President and Member of the Academy Council Presidium, and is fully supported by managing directors of founding institutes.
